AKA "SlugSlinger" Got her first deer, a (6 pt) Buck. "Well see ive been hunting for 3years now and that was my first deer..! i am quite happy i guess my dad knew what he was talking about when he put me where he did..! i was only in the woods for about a half an hour...! he was about im guessing 100yrds away...!and guessing about 156 lbs..i shot him on the 1st day of the youth hunt..!" |

At 8:15 my son Andy got his first deer. About 8AM seven does or button bucks cross the field. A shot with a Horton crossbow at approx 26 yards. He fires and the bolt hit dead on the money. She dropped right there and didn't go anywhere. Good work !!! |

At 2:30PM opening day I awoke to find a 8 point buck standing in front of me. He went behind a tree and I pulled the pistol. He took off when he heard the hammer go back. He didn't run fast but took off and stopped at 74 yards. I got him. a good size deer but not a big rack. |
